The Lodge
Nestled in the shade of the Maroela trees, Maroela Lodge is designed to offer visitors an authentic African safari experience. The main lodge overlooks a waterhole allowing visitors the opportunity to enjoy the visiting wildlife while enjoying a drink and a meal on the deck. In the warm summer months visitors can relax in the lodge pool, while cozying up around the fireplace in winter. Catering for up to 10 guests, the lodge offers a more personalized experience with unique flexibility to enjoy the park.
Meals prepared under the watchful eye of Vicki are a pleasure unto themselves. In the summer months dinner can be enjoyed in the boma next to the large fire pit or on the deck keeping a look out for thirsty game and in winter dinner can be taken at the dining table inside the lodge.
Games drives are enjoyed under the guidance of Neal who with his years of experience in Madikwe navigates the roads while educating us all on the fauna and flora. The abundance of game in the park makes these game drives something not to be missed.
